Find your colours
One sure-fire way to help you feel your best, most confident self is to wear the colours that most suit you. Having your colours analysed will give you a confidence boosting tool to instantly elevate your style.
A common way of categorising a colour palette is in seasons. Each category has its own signature tones that harmonise beautifully with your natural features. So, how do you find out if you are a ‘winter’, ‘spring’, ‘summer’ or ‘autumn’?
How to find your palette
First off, determine your skin undertone. This isn’t the same as your skin colour; it’s the subtle hue underneath.
There are a few quick tests you can do to figure out if you have cool or warm undertones. Check out your veins: If the veins on your wrist look blue or purple, you likely have cool undertones. If they look green, you’re warm. Secondly, hold some gold and silver jewellery up to your face. Gold tends to flatter warm tones; silver looks best on cool tones. As a final test, hold a pure white cloth near your face. If your skin looks bright and radiant, you’re likely cool. If it looks more golden, you’re warm.

More about your season
Winter palette - cool & deep
People who suit a winter palette usually have black, dark brown or ashy blonde hair, with striking deep brown, blue, green or grey eyes. Their skin undertones are cool with pink or blue, with overtones that include pinkish, olive or neutral-to-dark beige. Winter colourings are about saturation and high contrast. The best colours are jewel tones such as emerald green, royal blue and ruby red, icy pastels, and crisp black and white.
Colours to avoid are warm, muted shades like mustard or earthy browns as they can dull your complexion.
Winter colours:

Spring palette - warm & bright
Characteristics of people with a spring palette are golden blonde, strawberry blonde or light brown hair, and bright blue, green or light hazel eyes. The skin undertones are warm and golden with a tendency toward golden or peachy, and a fresh appearance. The best colours for springs are warm, clear shades like coral, peach, turquoise and butter yellow, creamy whites, and warm pastels.
Colours to avoid are harsh, dark tones like black or deep burgundy as they can overpower your brightness.
Spring colours:

Summer palette - cool & soft
People with summer colourings usually have ash blonde, light brown or soft grey hair, and grey, soft blue or green eyes. Their skin is often pink, rosy or ash-beige with a cool undertone. Their best colours for summer colourings are dusty pastels, lavender, rose pink, soft blue and grey, muted navy and soft neutrals.
Colours to avoid are overly warm or vivid tones like orange or tomato red.
Summer colours:

Autumn palette - warm & earthy
Characteristics of those with autumn colourings are typically auburn, chestnut or golden brown hair and eyes that are deep brown, hazel or green. Their skin undertones are warm, golden or olive. The best colours for autumns are earth tones such as burnt orange, mustard, olive, chocolate brown and forest green, warm, muted tones and creamy ivory.
Colours that autumn people should avoid are cool pastels or ice colours as they can make you look pale or tired.

Build your wardrobe around your palette
Once you’ve identified your seasonal palette, the fun begins.
Start with basics in your best neutral tones (e.g., navy for summer, camel for autumn).
Layer accent colours for variety and personality.
Choose makeup shades that align with your season eg. cool pinks for winters and summers, warm corals for springs and autumns.
Use accessories (scarves, earrings, lipstick) to experiment before committing to new wardrobe colours.
Trust the mirror
Understanding your seasonal colour palette can simplify shopping, elevate your style, and help you build a wardrobe that works for you. Colour analysis is a guide, not a strict rulebook. The right colour is the one that makes your skin glow, your eyes pop, and your confidence shine. If a colour outside your palette makes you feel amazing, wear it with pride!
Have fun 🤩
