It’s the season for skiing and we’re loving it! If you’re lucky enough to be heading off to colder climes to shred some snow then you’re bound to have a pretty long list of clothes and equipment to pack. Once you’ve sorted the essentials it’s time to think about the accessories (although we happen to think that jewellery is pretty essential 😉). Here’s some things to think about when it comes to ski holiday jewellery. 

Keep it neat on the piste

Safety first! Simple, small pieces that won’t get caught, damaged or lost while you’re flying down the slopes are your best bet. Studs in the ears is probably as far as you should stretch; save the bigger pieces of jewellery for the après ski. Durable, water-resistant materials are the ones to wear in the snow. Sterling silver or gold vermeil will be fine in the damp air and light snow. Stay on theme with our dainty snow kisses studs - understated can still offer a bit of sparkle. Après ski glamour

Choose colour

Care tips

When you’re not wearing your jewellery, store it in a soft pouch and keep it in a safe place. When taking gloves, hats, scarves and goggles on and off, be careful not to snag and damage your jewellery or accidentally fling it off into the snow! Make sure rings fit properly, as cold weather can cause fingers to shrink slightly; you don’t want them to fall off. 

Don’t forget that moisturisers, SPF and chemicals can tarnish silver and gold so always take your jewellery off when applying skincare products and before jumping in the hot tub or sauna.
